The course is residential, shared accommodation on Pom Pom Island. Food & other facilities are provided by the
Celebes Beach resort.
The course is normally 18-24 months we do it as an intensive – single subject – course in 12 weeks. The course is very practical and makes learning fun. The course starts Feb 2012
As far as I am aware it is not yet available as an online course anywhere in the world. We are working on making part of the course online but that will not be ready till mid 2012.
No prior qualifications are required but good spoken & written English and the ability to swim are essential. No age limit.
The course structure is 2-4 lessons and one practical every day. Six days per week. Usually one or two dives per day.
The costs are accommodation/food/scuba instruction/gear rental/local transport £3360 (discount £160 with OW, discount £200 for students with Advanced)
“A” level course & exam fees £425
The A level exam is 4 exams done in the last week of the course. The exams are marked by Cambridge exam board and the results are usually published mid July.
